I can kinda understand portal 1 since it was originally a student game that got fleshed out when valve hired the students that made it, but portal 2 is absolutely not indie.

AAA games annoy me nowadays, so i start playing some indie.
Lisa, hotline miami 1-2, hyperlight drifter, subnautica, enter the gungeon and risk of rain are the one that i played recently
Momodora was pretty fun
Is it just me or can the game be completed on any order
Most indie Metroidvanias are just typical levels with the menus and title cards removed and awful backtracking.
Momodora felt like I could legitimately get lost and be alright

I bought it before the sale. I say it's worth it. I had a blast playing it. Tons of secret areas and tons of collectibles to try and get to. The combat is pretty basic with upgrades to make it more fast paced. Fun game you can sink hours into if you're the type of person to 100% achievements.

I've played transistor. Ehh HLD is more like a hack and slash with dash elements instead of stopping time and planning out your next move like in Transistor.
