I gave the campaign $10 and it immediately taught me never to give money to a kickstarter ever again.
I donated around the time of the Call design contest.
I voted for H. About 1 month later, I received a strange email with japanese characters and the word "Call" in the subject line. Like the subject line, the email was filled with weird Japanese letters that I couldn't read (despite myself being an otaku, heh).
Well, I thought nothing of it. Then, I got another one. And another one. I kept getting more and more with more frequency.
I blocked the email but nope, the next day a new email would start spamming me Japanese emails.
Shit finally came to a head when I received a weird phone call on Skype. I was Skyping with my gf I met on Gaia, and I get a phone call from a person with a Japanese sounding name. Kaiju Inafuta or something like that. I decide to answer the call and I'll never forget what a horrible experience I had.
A middle aged Japanese man was staring at me. He was sweating profusely and seemed to be naked, but I couldn't see that far down his body through the cam. He just stared at me before saying "You vote for Carr H?" I gulped, I had no idea what that mean. "Herro, stupid? You vote for Carr H? Mighty Numma Nine? Herro?" Mighty Number 9? Huh? Then I remembered that dumb game I gave 10 dollars to.
"You vote Carr H? Fuck you. Carr H is shit. Change vote or die." He was giving me the middle finger and looked like his was jacking off below the camera. I was in tears. ERPing with my gf did nothing to console me that night. I was visibly shaken. I was just threatened by some Japanese man because I voted for a character design for some game. The harassment didn't stop there. I had to change phone numbers and move to a new place eventually. The emails have finally trickled off and I've gotten less threatening letters. Fuck Kickstarter.

X6 has better level design than X5 and X7.
MN9 has levels more comparable to X5 where the level just plain leads you to the end and holds your hand the whole time. The levels are empty and arbitrary in how they're set up. It's very clear which direction youre supposed to go, unlike X6 where you can have 2 routes that can meet up again or end up with the alt route

X5 and X6's teams are essentially the same.
Both are completely sorry rehashes of X4 that didn't give a shit about trying to come up with new techniques for Zero as opposed to recycling what existed with different graphic effects and very watered down pixel art.
X6 only stands above X5 to me because you're not stopped by prompts every 2 minutes to hear shit you don't care about. It's the same as mobile game garbage stopping you every 2 seconds to tell what you already know, but since X5 was favored by Inafune when he was king shit of fuck mountain, everyone sucks its dick.
Both X5 and X6 are pretty bad, but given how in X6 you don't get interrupted while playing by unskippable text prompts, that gives it a slight edge.
