What games have dropships in them?
RTS/FPS/Adventure, either controlling them or sitting in them, I don't care.
I just fucking LOVE dropships
Helicopters are allowed too

That Fps section 8 has you fall from a drop ship every time you respawn

OP you need to play Titanfall.
Generally most matches you arrive by dropship and jump out, and at the end of the match the losing team has to survive until their dropship arrives then race to get to it, then hope it doesn't get blown up by the other team before it dusts off.
If anybody is still playing on PC, go install Titanfall and enjoy it while you can.
You start the match in a dropship
If you lose, you have to make it to the dropship for evac.

Planetside 2 has cool dropships
slow, lightly defended and 12 seats
or you can have one that's faster with 6 and 4 people can shoot out the sides (they suck though)
Planetside 1 had your Galaxy (1 pilot, 3 gunners, 6 Infantry, 2 MAX and 1 light vehicle) and the other one I forget the name of, carried a heavy vehicle and also acted as mobile repair and rearm station when landed.
Then you also had the HART, when boarded allowed an unlimited number of infantry to launch in a drop pod to on any point on an allied/contested system.
Best memory of that game was taking a small group of 10-20people deep into an enemy system, take a base through a drain hack and after 15minutes of holding the fort alone we looked up to see the sky fill with friendly drop pods.

Not strictly a dropship, but the Tribes games generally had a heavy flying transport which you could carry four passengers who could shoot from their position, in Tribes 2 there was also a similar vehicle which could drop bombs and could carry a pilot/gunner/tailgunner.
Then in Tribes Ascend there was a hoverbike you could 2-up for radical fun times.
