The game is violent as fuck. About 100 times more violent than the previous game, especially the kill animations.
You guys probably know about the 3 henchmen and how you can assign them territories. You're basically going around the map and attacking stuff that belongs to a rival mobster and slowly taking over his territory. They seem to be ripping off GTA a lot more with this game.
