It's fine but it's overrated.
No emulation is perfect.
It also makes people have obnoxious opinions because they just play the game with SUPAH 60 FPS HIGH DEFINITION PACK AND BALANCING PATCHES while when the original game came out, it played like shit.
All these filters, so little difference. Makes you wonder who the hell cares.

Emulation is great. I love playing old games with AA and shaders and being able to take screenshots of them.
Considering how fucking expensive a ton of retro games are, I'm grateful there's a comprehensive archive of old games that are fully playable and incredibly accurate to their physical counterparts
