Both other heals have a built in escape and higher health, and higher fucking healing. Zenyatta has his damage but will be fucked royally if his team mates are out of position or hes out of position.

Extend the range of Discord and make it so Harmony stays on your ally without line-of-sight. Other than that he's fine.
I did a whole team of Zenyattas vs a whole team of Reapers and the Zenyattas held their ground pretty well on a king of the hill match. We actually almost won because we were taking Reapers down in practically one hit with a headshot and whenever they activated their Ult, we used ours as well or shut them down to fast

Post Widow nerf I really don't have an issue with him. He feels good now.
Prior to that nerf, getting killed instantly by a Widowmaker was legitimately bullshit. It not only meant that she absolutely hard countered him, but it meant playing as him was legitimately less enjoyable.
Now he's just squishy, like he should be because the point is he's a glass cannon.
My only complaint is his ult is extremely hard to use without strong co-ordination. So I don't imagine it needs fixing if you're playing with bros but sometimes I wish it worked differently when playing pub. Maybe if it had a larger range of healing, but healed less the further you were away from him, rather than uniformly. Or maybe if people just actually grouped up when you spam group up and that you have your ultimate

Sure, mercy sure does beat a tracer, or lucio a winston. I agreed that zen needs some mobility. If he had that he would be a top contender. He can and will consistently out damage and kill more then the other supports, and will be in the acceptable healing range. His spot is along a lucio/mercy. Not replacing them.

His problem is the lack of mobility compared to Lucio and Mercy, his Ultimate that is pulled out of ass and does not fit his archetype at all and his 150HP while being one of the least mobile characters in the game.
Noobs don't know how to play him, pros don't play with him because there are better picks.
So what's the essence of Zenyatta's problems? He's not good enough at what he was meant to do. Sure you can debuff Tanks but Reaper shreds them anyway, you don't -NEED- Zenyatta in any situation. He's a hipster pick.
To fix that you'd have to redesign his Ulti so it's long range-based, buff his HP, tweak his orb of Discord so it's good enough to be actually picked against fat bodies and allow him to "fly" by levitating a little bit higher if he wishes so (tripple jump kind of thing).
Overall Zenyatta feels rushed, his concept is a failure and he's just a free kill for any flanker.
Play Lucio instead.
