Not that guy, but Origins is better than City and Knight, and that's even without Kevin Conroy. More people should give that game a chance honestly. It does a really good job of highlighting the detective part of Batman, as well as some lesser known villains.

You just have to know that Jack was just an opportunist with good intentions, but he was surrounded by tons of other people who thought they were the "good guys", which is the major arcing theme of the entire series. He was fucked over by the people he trusted the most, and started going axe-crazy the more powerful he became.
Except Jack was fucking mental and jaded from the beginning, which probably wasn't even his fault since his daughter had powers that only five other women in the entire universe have.
