Alright, so I think I get this now. Trading cards are dropped randomly in games, and if you get the whole set from a certain game you get a badge. Gems are for making more cards, or you can sell them on the steam market.
What I don't get though is what the hell is a badge? Is it just like, a trophy for your steam page? I feel like I'm playing neopets with this shit.
