Against the AI rats its just plain sleep inducing and against players its less so but not by much. The game survives because of the whole economy actually meaning something and all of the effects that entails. Its brilliant. Its just too bad the rest of the game doesnt live up to it.

i just looked up the steam page; you can't combine that deal with a trial. you can later connect a steam account to an account with ccp's site which allows you to buy amazon specials if you want.
there is currently no cheap way to get 51 days. if they buy the steam $5 they get 30 days and play without trial restrictions; if you refer trials to them they get 21 days for free but with trial restrictions.

Trust, I've played just about every MMO that has a general and gets regular threads here.
They're all casuals who can't stand sitting grinding a skill, money or task for hours to no end, I don't mean neet levels of sitting in a computer 18 hours a day, I mean everyday persistence.
New games comes out and they quit for 2 months, come back and they wonder why they suddebly didn't get magically better at the game.
They get killed and they quit.
They rather stay docked or on a safe zone posting on threads about how good they are and other useless shit.
Most people in /eog/ don't even own more than five characters.
Let alone Supers, Titans, mining fleets and fresh hunters.
They think by owning a super/titan or caps suddenly makes you unable to fly subcaps like before or some dumb reasoning.
Same goes for grinding your own isk, there are people that pride themselves into buying PLEX with real money to undock, they also think owning PvE pilots or grinding isk suddenly makes you unable to buy PLEX if you choose so.
People just don't care about progression because it means work, and then they go crying that they want progression.
