4kids made the dub for Yugioh, One Piece, and the original Pokemon dub. They were fucking terrible. They removed anything Japanese, removed any violence, any sexual thing, and any death.
Rice balls were referred to as donuts, gun in One Piece were turned into water guns, people got bruised and scraped instead of bloodied and battered, cleavage was covered, One Piece's cook's cigarette was turned into a lollipop, in Yugioh people were sent to "the shadow realm" as apposed to dying, etc.
There's so much more, but this post can only go so long. It was so bad that Toei revoked their license to localize One Piece.

By they way, I live in Japan and I am so fucking sick of people on this board whining about how it's such a censorship free paradise. A lot of games still get censored here and it's not just violence but sexual content as well.
Witcher 3 puts clothes on Keira and Yennifer even during sex scenes (which were altered, including the characters' faces) and gore from dismemberments was removed.
The Order 1886 moves the camera during the only sex scene in the game so that we only see a woman's face looking surprised and the man she was on top of is now wearing pants whereas in the EU/US release his penis is visible.
Until Dawn just cut the screen to black but kept the audio during some of the death scenes so players had no idea what was going on.
The list goes on and on. Of course, you'll never here this people complaining about that because they're too entrenched in their "based Japan, I saw a hentai once so you must be sexually liberal" fantasies.
At least people here actually play the games I listed above. Sorry to break this to you but the games you guys are always holding up as examples of Japan as a censorship free paradise were only released that way because they never got attention from the mainstream public.
