TP is my favorite. Breath of the Wild will probably take its place. I like it because TP is the least annoying in terms of gameplay. The only part I don't like is finding all the totems but that is relatively easy. Where as Every time I play WW I dread having to go get the triforce shards.

I like OOT but I didn't like playing it on the tiny 3ds. Maybe I should get it on Wii u virtual console.

Yes. If you hate TP you essentially hate the whole series since they haven't fixed the flaws since ocarina, and even then they've bought new ones in with each installment. skyward sword upped the difficulty and had more shit to buy with rupees and had better item usage though

My reasons for not liking it:
-I thought the opening of the game sucked, took way too long for things to get moving
-Midna annoyed me, people complain about Navi but Midna interrupted my game far more than she ever did
-I really just did not give a shit about any of the side characters and the game kept focusing on them
-way too easy (though this is a problem in most 3D Zeldas)
-tears of light were garbage

Those are the main things. There are also a lot of minor complaints like poes disappearing as you reach them and there being no sun's song, swimming and climbing being really slow, and some other nitpicks that built up enough to become a problem but I'm not gonna go in depth about it here.

Also I didn't like the weird uncanny look they used for a lot of npcs.

those enemies are babby tier when compared to even the basic zombies in dark souls though so the difficulty is still shit

I love it, but it's not without its flaws. Some of the bosses are laughably easy like Fyre, and Blizzetta, and I did not like the tears of light sections. Epona also could have been controlled less clumsily if they worked on it a bit more. But I did really enjoy the dungeons and their puzzles like Arbiter's Grounds, Snowfall Ruins, and the Temple of Time. I also unironically enjoyed the more darker tone they tried to go for in this game and moments like Lanayru's lesson.

I hate TP for exaggerating a lot of the flaws in ocarina. I don't even really consider most of them flaws in OOT, but for me the balance was way off in TP. TP has way more cutscenes, a companion that interrupts the game far more often than navi ever did, an even wider and emptier overworld, and an opening sequence that's way worse and far longer than grabbing the sword and grinding for rupees.

In OOT, most cutscenes after Kokiri Forest are like a minute long at most, they're pretty brief. To me, they aren't a flaw because of that (though the opening with the deku tree does drag). The other stuff that I do consider flaws aren't as big of a deal because they're a smaller part of the game than they are in TP. TP just didn't have the balance that ocarina did.

The introduction isn't even long, especially now that you're not an idiot child (hopefully). You're misremembering.

Shitty, long, boring intro sequence, nothing happens and the things it teaches you are so simple to figure out you probably could have done it on your own.

Wolf sections aren't very interesting after the first one, but the design of the twilight sections is amazing. Wolf mode as a whole is under-utilized, with an overall shitty moveset only useful for certain enemies at the beginning and some puzzles.

New combat moves are cool, but almost pointless. Most of them are never used or don't need to be used.

Big, open, empty overworld. At least the music is good.

Twilight Realm section at the end is too short and the area is too small.

Hyrule Castle has amazing dungeon concepts, but overall is too short.

Everything else is really solid, 7/10 for sure.

A lot of good ideas bogged down by pacing issues and an extremely forgettable art style (aside from the Twilight theme). It tried too hard to be a somewhat mature-looking Ocarina of Time 2 due to competition from the PS3 and the absolutely explosive popularity of "brown bloom mature games" at the time. They were too afraid to do something like Wind Waker again, which also shows in Smash Bros. Brawl's art style with the hyper realistic jean textures on Mario and gritty Bowser design.

Turning into a feral wolf just to run around and hunt for bugs is a great example of how they had a good idea and just sort of dropped it on the floor.
