Just to spread the (You), I miffed a bit about Yosuke in general in the other thread. The game is pretty backwards. Sometimes I wonder if it's a game about accepting the gender roles you are dealt moreso than defying them, and it tends to involve anything LGBT as being a phase. The only character that doesn't even equate being LGBT to rebelling is Teddie, and he's not human and everyone pretty much writes him off as "not getting the hint".

In Yosuke's case, I don't think so. His dialogue makes way more sense if he's a closet gay, but cutting the romance option or even an unrequited love or other confirming mention in his S.Link. It also justifies his cheesy aggressive hitting on of the girls. It wouldn't make him character of the year, but it makes him that much more unlikable and "just there" when there's no underlining reason behind it.
Otherwise, if the game is really pro-LGBT, it's kind of funny to me that they would even cut the the lines from his route(because why would they if not to make sure the straight Japanese dudes blindly waifu hunting can keep living a fantasyworld.)
