Hey, a good Symmetra can be single-handedly responsible for winning games. She's even fantastic on King of the Hill, but I don't think I've EVER seen anyone but me use her on it. Just set up turrets individually behind pillars in irritating spots and you'll damage and distract them enough for other players to kill them, and your M1 is fucking bananas if you stay in the point and melt any niggers who come into it. I usually just set up my teleporter on the point itself and say fuck it to playing safe, just melt anyone dumb enough to try to attack it.
Obviously, like all things, this strategy does not survive 6 ults to your face at once.

I highly contest this. Any character, including Mercy, can get a good ult at a critical moment, but Symmetra props up the whole team all game with her turrets and teleporter. Plus the just-barely-relevant shields. Team still needs a real healer though.

Roadhog is one of the heroes that can be really good or really bad, there is never just an okay roadhog.
Roadhogs can be powerhouses of team pushes or they can basically be an ult charger for the enemy team.
Symettra is pretty much the same, good or bad, never okay.

You shouldn't be hooking people in onto the point, you should be hooking them in to force the fight. If you're on Anubis, you drag in whoever you can reach, particularly a vulnerable target, and make it so they either have to go in now or wait for your pick to respawn. Either way, you're the one who decides when the fight starts.
Pair that with high self sustain and the ability to say fuck you to the annoying flanker shits with a hook combo and Roadie will dominate in defense.
The only reason I don't pick him very often offensively is rarely is your team ready to collapse on people who are out of position unless it's a payload map. There are way too many people doing their own thing to take advantage of the zoning and picking capabilities you're providing as Roadhog.

That has to do with lag. The hook isn't hitscan, it's projectile. They use a separate hurtbox to decide contact, however. Hook has the same wiggle room as a Hanzo arrow but with a bigger projectile.

Roadhog is prenerf McCree but better. He wins pretty much any 1v1 but doesn't need to stumble upon people at close range to do it.

A Roadhog that's good at comboing squishies can make or break a team. Anyone with 250 HP or less should be a goner with a single combo, meaning the majority of enemies can't put up a fight if the Roadhog is good. Considering also that he's self-sustaining and shits out damage at a range with his alt-fire, he's an extremely powerful pick. Even against Reinhardt he's a pretty good pick despite Rein's shield cockblocking hooks. Because Roadhog puts out so much damage he can really punch through Rein's shield quite well.
Really the only hero that I'm cautious about is a good Hanzo player. Hanzo can shit out damage if he lands headshots and a well-placed scattershot does a fuckload too. Reaper can also be an issue but Roadhog is as much a counter to Reaper as Reaper is to Roadhog.

It's acceptable as long as it's balanced. It's harder for Hanzo to get a headshot when his weapon has an arc and has a charge time. Widowmaker wins most encounters and no game will be decided by a Hanzo taking 6 plus seconds to try and hit a target he can't see.
