A game I want is £10 on steam and £2 on g2a, How reliable is g2a?
Reputable sellers will literally never scam you
Coincidentally I just bought 12 games on g2a this morning.
I'd say it's safe since I have no reason to believe it's not, but for the sake of precaution, buy from the well-rated sellers.

Usually the people that sell games super cheap are people that have contacts and they get games free.
Or it can just be a scam so listen to the anons above.
What happens if I don't use g2a shield and use the 0%VAT option?

Just don't buy from Russians, slavs, or third-worlders and you'll probably be fine.
If/when you do get scammed, get your money back through PayPal. G2A's support won't give ypu anything back, even if you bought insurance.

Then what is the insurance for? nothing?

I've bought over a dozen games from them.
CD key was never revoked and have all of the games, some a couple years old, still on my Steam account.

I imagine nothing will happen. It's like an extended warranty. Never used it before and never had problems with it.
If is too low is stolen. People buy 4pack or bundle during sales and sell key on G2A when sale end. If a game have low price during sale is 100% stolen. BTW did you trust someone who tell you "if you pay me more I can garantee our stuff is legit"?

Not like I haven't bought stolen goods before

Use paypal to cover yourself. If cdkeys has it, use them first.
