Pretty much my indie and weeb machine. Plays VN's just fine, some grindy games are actually better on it like tales. Has cross save with Dragon's Crown, Leifrasir, Warriors Orochi 3.
It looks better than the 3ds, less clunky, and it gets free games on PS+ and atlus releases stuff on it. The only thing missing would be if capcom finally nutted up and released monhun on it and gyakuten saiban I wouldn't have to take out that 3ds at all.

Remember to eat food it gives you XP. Don't be shy to use items.
In the bottom right corner of the screen is a small map that shows your Grade for the battle and where all the enemies are. Its extremely useful.
Also I just found out that Phozons replenish PP.
Psvita has no game.

Apart from the basic 4 O shortcuts for skills you're shown you can also add more shortcuts with inputs such as quarter circles + O/Square, half circle + O/Square or up+down/down+up + O/Square.
Food and restaurant dishes are your primary source of xp.

Norhing went wrong if you want a weeb machine. Also has great indie support. Its also no good for younger kids who are the primary audience worldwide for handhelds.

Only 2 differences are portability and there is some slow down on the vita
I've only experienced the slow down twice and weirdly enough it was in an area with no enemies. Just a dark room with 2 chests. Other than that it runs perfectly.
