They got a real solid spin off here. The previous 2 games were bad to meh but havingplayed fire and ice at E3, I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Its not much, but I do enjoy boom as a spinoff and wish I could support it more

People don't really get that Boom was always supposed to be more about the cartoon than the games. The games were just tie ins to help promote the cartoon, not the other way around.
It certainly doesn't excuse their shittiness, but it is worth pointing out since Sega didn't really make this clear.
