Makes sense as a developer/publisher standpoint. Put zero effort into art, design, gameplay, or even rent out expensive engines and push graphical standards. Just make some sprite/PS2 tier game on an outdated engine, slather on some fanservice, and enjoy increased profit margins from the predictable weebfags.
Then once they've bought the game, shit out merchandise. Body pillows, figurines, etc and again weebs will flock to gobble up whatever excrement they push out.
I'd wager to say weeaboos are more cancerous to the industry than even CoD kiddies. Hell, even CoD kiddies have been slowly moving away from CoD. Weebs have been at it for fucking decades.
