I only struggled through the buu event by using Broly, a lucky summon of mine (and the last), and a person on my friend list's Broly to spam his super attack until I was done with it 3 times.
I ended up using 2-3 stones each time, but one time I was incredibly close to beating him one time but ended up using all my items, namely those beautiful ghost ushers, and the only two stones I had at that time.
I'd love to try and get that SSJ Goku (Angel) but holy fuck It's such a pain to beat that guy in just a few turns. I'd try at the Frieza event but jesus christ those one-shots though.

SSJ3 Goku is probably the easiest Dokkan event. At least for me. You need the TEQ SSGSS Goku and a good Nuker. Super 13 with a level 10 SA works fine. Take another SSGSS Goku as a friend and turn the entire field into green Spheres. Collect all Spheres on your Nuker and that's it.
