I wasted about 200 hours of my life trying to clear T7 on Balmung; 16 hours every weekend for about 3 months in PUGs trying to beat Melusine.Finally cleared it, and the scatterbrained team-killing SCH looted the WHM BiS High Allagan chest that dropped for glamourI ragequit until Heavensward

Not only could be play with each other, it also has alot nice people in. Except in the +50 dungeons, then people get a bit toxic and whiny.

Famfrit. Thinks it's a low pop but honestly it isn't too bad. PF seems fairly active during busy time
I play on Ultros. It's a decently active server and not everyone is at the end-game, so beginning areas aren't dead like the high population servers like Gilgamesh/Excalibur/Balmung.
The downsides are weebs and if you don't use guildworks/have a hunting linkshell you will literally never see an A or S rank hunt in your life.

You will be miserable regardless of server. The games dead and gone, go look at the general on /vg/ that's whatd left of the community. Theres no comment, you get two dungeons and a progressively easier raid every three months.

Even players that haven't played FFXIV know that Blahmung is worst server.
If you want to play with hardcore players, pick a legacy server. otherwise stick with the other ones.
I personally play in Sargatanas, and it is a prettyfunserver.
