I thought Metal Gear Solid V looked better than Uncharted 4.
U4 was certainly more photorealistic at times, but I just thought the artstyle and wonderful lightning in MGSV looked better.
MGSV has that wonderful feeling of colours blending together and really popping. The way lightning reflected on stuff like your mother base was very eye-pleasing.

I try ro enjoy every game i play, but im having a hard time dragging myself through the finals levels of this game. Its just so fucking sterile and repetetive. Im actually enjoying rise of the tomb raider a lot more. Also last of us was better, as well.
Battlefront is/was probably the best looking game so far, but it was lacking artistic views as it was all photogrammetry scans, unlike U4.

What? The engine was seemingly fantastic, the reason why MGSV was held back is because it was a last gen game.
I still think it can look fantastic though, the use of colours and contrast made up for a lot of technical shortcomings. Even Ocelots shotgun shells are blocky to save on horsepower.

I agree with everything you said, as long as we're just talking about Mother Base.
The rest of the game looks good at best. It's nice but everything blends together in a bad foggy kind of way. Probably due to the bland colour palette.
