I was actually hoping for a sort of action-packed extension for RE6 where we could have some explosive finale in which all the classic returning characters go out swinging or get injured to the point where they simply retire. Hell, it could have been a game mechanic too, like Leon having to limp after a monster chomps on his leg or something. Or having trouble aiming after taking a splash of acid to his eyes
Looking at RE now, I'd argue I'm gonna be playing RE until I have fucking grandkids at this point

2 & 4 were the big sellers, so they're probably capitalizing on that. Personally I'm more in favor of REmake & 3 so Alpha team will always be the true STARS of the series for me.
