Honestly it was the war table for me. Why tie something that has an effect on the story behind REAL TIME. Some of those missions are literally 24 hours. I didn't want to finish the game
I hated everything about it. The empty world, the slow gameplay, the trans education shoved down your throat, everything.
Dragon's Dogma is the superior game.

You can change your system's time, edit your save to give your advisors 1.000 boosts to their completion time (100%, or instantaneous), or install a mod that removes the time limits on operations completely.

Ehh, it was pretty mediocre. It suffered from a lot of really tedious gameplay mechanics/choices as well as really stupid characters. And of course the mages are fucking retarded once again, but you better side with them if you want to fight Samson (who's a lot more interesting than Calpernia).
At least Trespasser was neat. I like the direction they're going with tearing down all this mysticism and "elves dindu nuffin" shit. Can't wait to butcher knife ears in the next game.

How else would they do it? It's supposed to run in real time, so even while you aren't playing the game. The only other thing they could do is contact an NTP server, which would be hilariously heavy-handed.
The reason I didn't play Inquisition was because all four games before it---the first two Dragon Age games and the first two Mass Effect games---were mediocre to bad. Same reason I didn't get Fallout 4.

Game feels like "just do a bunch of fucking sidequests until the plot makes something happen.".
Characters are mostly unlikeable, Bull and Varric are alright.
Combat feels lame as a wizard.
It's really fucking inconvenient to return to the War Room any time you want someone to do anything. Like, sit through 2 long ass loading screens every hour or so until your facebook game-tier thing is done.

I can't fathom how anyone can like this bland piece of shit. It's so mediocre in every single aspect: the world is incredibly bland; the gameplay just feels stupidly clunky; the characters are extremely boring, and the only exceptions that I can think of are Dorian and Morrigan.
I mean, it's just so damn bland. And comparing it to The Witcher 3 is insane, because the sidequests in that game are actually good and engaging; hell, the Blood & Wine expansion alone, with its shitty Wine Wars arc, is miles better than DA:I.
