1) nobody played Bayo 1 on PS3 because that port was shit. It was SO shit, in fact, that its shittiness inspired Platinum to move to a bespoke multiplatform-capable engine just so they'd never have to outsource another port.
2) I personally didn't play Bayo 1 until after playing Bayo 2, and I played it on the WiiU, and I'm telling you it is uncontroversially the superior game.

Considering the increasing interest in Bayonetta as of late and the upcoming NX hype, it would be stupid of Nintendo not to place all their eggs on it while they can. They need all the exclusives they can to get back in the game as soon as possible, and hopefully the NX system won't have specs from 10 years ago holding devs back.

The literal worst is parry-outs, for a game that's core combat loop is "wail on enemy looking for an opportunity to launch > execute a launch > sustain that launch as long as possible", allowing the enemy to randomly break that is the worst decision imaginable.
It'd be like a Tony Hawk game where your balance would just randomly crash regardless of your performance to keep players from getting combos that were too long. Or a racing game where your car would periodically steer itself into a wall if you nailed too many turns perfectly.
