I think this is obscure enough, I'm not sure. Nanashi no Game is a first person horror game that's literally The Ring except instead of a video that kills you it's a video game in the form of a 2D rpg. It's short and kind of neat getting to play the cursed 2D game within the game.

Director's Cut is one of the scariest games ever.
There's nothing quite like running out of battery and bullets in pitch darkness and hearing the mach 5 twitching zombies speeding around.
I couldn't finish it singleplayer, and coop spoils it a little, but it's fucking fantastic either way.
It's just a shame that the original coop servers died. The admin would chase you around like a slasher villain, shit was great.

Student of 한국어 here. I've studied Japanese for quite awhile, and both Korean and Japanese are extremely alike (the grammar is identical almost exactly and the vocabulary is alike since they are both Chinese based). They share words like 학생 (hak-saeng) and gaku-sei (student) and 동물 (dong-mul) and dotsubu (animal).
They are equally hard, I can say from experience. Japanese is far more difficult for its writing system, but it is actually easy if you know your radicals. Japanese is also extremely easy on pronunciation, where Korean will take you a good 5 years at the very least to warm up to double consonant sounds and weird tongue positions.
I'd recommend Japanese because speaking it is easier and you will get more speaking practice if you're not living in Japan--and you'll be better off with the easier pronunciation if you're not speaking it as much.
