I liked how community was handled in LoL. You could rate your teammates in the end of the match with "good teamwork", "helpful", "honorable" etc and could aslo rate them with "doesn't communicate", "toxic attitude". And then the servers would match players based on their scores. Positive players were matched with positive players and negative players were matched with negative players. After they implemented that, my queue quality improved thousandfold. From that day forth I didn't see any instalockers, there were no edgy dudes fighting over who can play the latest cool champ. C) You probably know that double Winston is very popular in competitive matches. You want to know why the double Winston meta exists? Dva DPS is great at killing healers on some maps, and there ult isn't there for killing people
It's for making them run away so that your team can take the point/cart.
Her human form gas unlimited range and very high DPS at long range compared to almost all heros, and since the gun isnt hitscan you can headshot and shoot people behind walls.
Also she kills tanks surprisingly fast, especially when they try to get in your face
I kill roadhog 80% of the time because dva guns do more sustainable DPS.
That said, if she could fire her guns while moving it'd be great.

Typically, a sniper in most other games is limited to only the sniper rifle and a weak sidearm. Widowmaker's Assault Rifle is a formidable weapon, not quite as powerful or accurate as 76's Pulse Rifle, but still strong in its own right.
In games with classes or "heroes", the sniper is typically the one with the least (or no greater) mobility compared to the others. Widow's Grapple, while it may have a fairly long cooldown, gives her a great deal of mobility to get a vantage point over or escape a majority of the cast who are less mobile.
It is common to see snipers equipped with something like claymore mines and Widow's Venom Mine is no exception. However, I can't think of any other FPS where the sniper's claymore mines will give off any indication to the Sniper other than scoring a kill. Widow's Mine will alert her to it being triggered or destroyed, no matter what happens to it, she will know an enemy is coming that way.
Many snipers in games end up getting tunnel vision because they seek to set up in a location with a good sight line but also good concealment, and focus on that particular lane. Every Overwatch map is a series of chokepoints with very very few side routes to take and sneak by, making the very map design weight heavily in her favor. And let's not forget the 15 SECOND LONG TEAM-WIDE WALL HACK that allows her to see where everyone is and take the head off of 3/4 of the cast the millisecond they appear around a corner.
There is one strength many FPS snipers have that Widow does not. Lots of games have the equivalent of "quickscoping" where they can use the sniper rifle very efficiently as a point blank weapon by aiming from the hip and firing the instant they scope up (because the scope-in time is very short). Because of both Widow's long scope-in time and the damage charge and being scoped out when jumping, she is for the most part incapable of this. However, her assault rifle mode still allows her to fight effectively. 2000characters
