Yup. When I was but a wee lad I got kick out of a semi regular group in WoW for ninjaing items when I didn't even know the concept. In the end I found a new guild in about an hour and understood the concept of ninjaing items. Only time I've been kicked out of a group besides getting kicked from random fps games for telling people they lost us a round or a match.
I've kicked many people from guilds/groups/what have you for playing poorly or generally making my life more complicated then it needed to be. 3 people go buthurt and tried to find out were I lived to hurt me. Thankfully I live the middle of nowhere in Canada.

As for getting banned from servers, there are probably only 3 or 4 TTT servers I can go on these days. Some of my friends and I joined a pretty huge guild there. They had an alliance, too.
The next day, after we joined, the about 10 or 15 of the top player left the guild. It was practically dead after it. Plus everybody stopped to feed the blacksmiths etc.
So I decided to go to alliance territory and loot the crap out of their auction house. I bought mounts, which would be totally expensive, for basically for free.
After half an hour of looting and gettin whispers from members of said alliance, someone got our guild leader coming online and he kicked me out. But I made a ton of money of an otherwise dead guild anyway.
Most fun I had in an online game for a long time. Real shame Albion Online feels like a cashgrab without getting a proper release.

One guy replied to a /sh back around ARR launch by adding a swear or something that the auto censor (turned on by default, mind you) catches, and the GM threatened to suspend him for three days if he did it again. I and the others in charge of recruiting/officers would require new applicants to go through a raid were they would lead their role in for a mock interview of an alt night. We did have female members in our secondary guild. A lot of people would graduate from that guild to the main one if they showed their weren't bad at the game.
All in all, yes we allowed women into our subguild but, never into the main guild mostly because that one was strictly a raiding guild. The other one was the friends and family casual more normal type.

As a privately run in game group we chose to have this no girls allowed policy because we wanted to clear content competitively. Don't like it, we kindly ask you to not apply or question our method. Come into the subguild to complain about it. The person who invited you would be banned from both guilds and everyone they ever invited would be put on probation. Don't like that rule, you are free to leave anytime and encouraged to.
At the end of the day, I and 5 others agreed to this rule. We enforced strongly. Had a handful of complains. Addressed them with appropriate action. People over the years would complain on the forums about our policy. Our public response always was our guild our rules if you don't like it don't apply..

Mostly because the main guild and the sub guild had the same invite privileges. The people who had been given invite privileges were someones we trusted.
You were required to maintain decorum in both guilds. People were well aware we reserved the right to kick them from either guilds for any reason without warning. I've personally had to kick 5 people over 6 years. Others around the same. All in all we probably kicked 30 people at most over 8 years.
We were strict but fair each time we kicked someone unless they broke the no girls allowed rule. We never had to kick anyone from the main guild because they invite a confirmed female player so it was more of a public policy then an enforced law.

Myself, my brother and a couple of people we met in the guild we joined in WoW got kicked for seemingly no reason. I could have understood it if it was just me and my brother who got kicked out (our personalities clashed with some of the leading members, although it was pretty pathetic that they deliberately decided to kick us out while we were offline), but the fact the others got kicked was pretty bizarre. I had the misfortune of being in a guild group which got me kicked from not only the party but also the guild. In early vanilla WoW when clearing Molten Core, a legendary necklace dropped for my guild. At the time, it was one of two legendary items in the game, and from what I hear was never intended to be on the loot table to begin with.
The guild leader's GF who barely ever showed up happened to be on the run, and the "loot council" decided to give it to her, even though she showed up for raids once or twice a month and wasn't even at the top of the charts for her own class when she did. A few weeks later, they patched the game and removed the item from the loot table forever.
She quit the game before AQ was out. Nobody liked her but the GM and some of the officers.

There was only one female I've ever played with who wasn't a waste of space. She played a tank feral druid at the end of WoW TBC which was considered the easiest tanking class at the time. That did arise from time to time. I'd usually recommend them to the 2nd or 3rd most advanced progression raiding guild on our server. I even recommended some of my main raiders sometimes to switch over to an other guild if they couldn't make our 5 hour a night progression raiding schedule anymore.
If I contacted the GM of a good guild on my server sending them a player with my recommendation they would usually understand that this person would be an asset to their team. Think of it as players in pro sports who get sent down to the minor leagues for a year or two because the major league team can't use them. They usually excel in those teams and sometimes get called back to the majors.

Basically, you get 2 hearts (<3) shown in your guild description when you join and your goal is to stay at at least 2 hearts or maximum 5
If you get 1 heart you get immediately kicked from the guild
If you get more than 2 hearts you get better privileges (raid spots etc) and promotions
Only the GM is allowed to handle hearts (the girl) and in order to get more hearts you need to literally kiss her ass whole day while she is logged in. this was in archeage. there was this zone that you could farm for the best weapon in the game before the castle island thing. anyway, it was super competitive getting a zone to farm and the biggest guild usually bullied people out of their farm spots. one day they were bullying us and two of our allied guilds were there too. i convinced them and my five guildies i was with to start attacking the largest guild on the server to take our spots back. it ended up starting a server wide pk fest that lasted a couple weeks where we couldn't even do the world events or trading without everyone trying to pk each other. it was a huge cluster fuck. eventually peace was made, but it was on the condition that me and the other guildies i was with were kicked out of our guild and blacklisted on the server. i was just about to quit the game anyway because it was p2w and crafting was the most ridiculous rng i've ever seen. it all worked out
