What do you guys think of 76? Is he still considered the easiest offense character? He's one of two who aren't flankers, the only other being Pharah. Soldier 76 is probably in top 5 heroes in the game. I'd argue he's the best overall besides Widow just because he can do anything if you're good enough. His effectiveness is linearly related to your DM ability and gamesense.

Your ability to do well correlates with how well you can read the game and make decisions, as well as aim.

I think the game is perfectly balanced as it is... except for Widow. I think she dominates the game too much ATM because only a friendly Widow can truly contest her. And her ult is ridiculously good. But this is a design flaw in the game that can only be fixed by nerfing her to shit, which is not a good solution, or removing her entirely, which is an even worse solution. As far as the meta goes the only mistake Blizz has made in their otherwise spectacular balancing is making Widow so insanely powerful. Just my two cents.

I don't think that's the solution at all. TF2 did that and it's just frustrating BUT it does keep him in check. For one I think that sniper fights should always be who's better, not who is gonna bodyshot you first. I think she needs to not have a crazy high DPS assault rifle with zero weapon switch, a FlankAlert venom mine that does really good damage AND a ridiculously fast ROF and charge time on her primary. That's what I mean when I saw she's just flawed by design but they can't really change anything without completely ruining her.
I'd settle for her ult being reworked. I think it should be a 1 second pulse, not a fucking wallhack that lets you line up kills NOBODY could have seen coming, AND your entire team has it AND there's absolutely zero way to prevent it once it's active.

I don't know why blizzard couldn't pull off what tf2 did. Give a solid experience with a high skill ceiling for those who seek it. It was the perfect marriage between
easy casual fun so the casuals can get into it without feeling at a huge disadvantage and high skill so the veterans wouldn't get bored. Blizzard could have done it
and been successful at it. Just adapt the concept/mechanics, still have 'heroes', and update the graphics to whatever polish casuals love these days and everyone
would have been pleased. Instead we get this broken game with low skill ceiling that you'll quickly get bored of and relies on blizzard to put out content to keep people
