can already see what could probably ruin this games combat. Its going to be the lack of a feeling of impact or hitstun on enemies, similar to dream drop distance
I still don't like the magic grenade stuff.
Hitstun is shit, makes Dragon's Dogma combat feel awful. Tiny swords don't have impact, but the big ass sword sure does. It was sending smaller enemies flying with every swing.
100 days guys

They didn't take out the magic grenades?
>>342190185
definitely wasn't a lack of a feeling of impact in the platinum demo
>>342190771
No, you can see it on the slot in the new E3 footages.
They made targetting less shit apparently, and if you use wait mode its instant.
>>342191492
Isn't this duscae?
>>342190185
>expecting good combat from an asian game
>>342190185
>>342190353
Are there even games with good combat but no hit stun/pause ?
>>342192141
I dunno, I missed that demo. I saved it from >>342132849
What's wrong OP? After 10 years of development you get to buy this buggy mess.
>>342192226
Hit stop is actually pretty rare.
>>342192226
The closest i can see anyone answering is monster hunter i guess
>>342191492
Do people call this combat is bad? Looks like great to me in open-world rpgs
>>342192310
What is Glasses Man even doing in this? Just flipping and shit?
>>342192883
He's dancing like a queer.
>>342192821
It's not good, try the demo.
>>342193015
Its just bug. What is combat so bad at mechanics?
>>342190185
Nothing about the combat seems rewarding, even if I could play it on PC with a much better res and framerate.
Sad because it has high production value.
>>342192821
Well there is that one autistic guy who tries to shit up every XV thread (you've already met him) but no, not really. Most seem pretty interested in it. I surely am.
I still don't see how this was so complicated it made it impossible to allow other party members to be directly controlled.
>>342192821
The problem with it is that it "looks" good, but feels bad and sluggish to actually play.
>>342193581
But guy, open world rpgs usually have not good combat.
I still think developer did good job.
>>342192149
t underage
>>342193581
I haven't played the demo, so, a question, so I can gauge how your opinion would be similar or different then mine:
did you consider witcher 3 to have good combat?
