There is no proof any weapon is better than any other, or that any weapon is worse than any other outside of actually broken mechanics that have existed like Slime.
The logical conclusion is that it needs to be tested, which is physically impossible in MH because peoples skills change wildly between weapons and even the top players cant play all weapons equally, most top times are because top players pick and master 1 weapon over others, which is not what is the 'best' weapon but what they like most.
The assumption that a tier list can exist is plausible but impossible to prove, which is why since the start people have always been hostile to tier lists because someone taking lance because its OP is worthless if they are shit, which is what leads to shitters ruining online play or complaining in solo that they fail. For 99.999% of the player base its best to pick the weapon you like over all overs, and tier lists serve no purpose for you.

Old 3DS is fine. You get slightly worse graphics and framerate, and you miss out on the nipple for camera movement if you don't have a CPP. But it's fine.

Personally I like to mix it up with Aerial. You should probably not use Wide shell types with aerial, or at least if you do never full burst, but using Normal with Striker is actually not too bad. You just HAVE to take Dragon Breath to get your heat gauge up initially. You can actually do a full burst after the jump boost hunter art, by the way.

What are you all enjoying so far? What weapons you rollan? Do you think arts are an improvement to the game or an unneeded gimmick?

Styles are a much bigger addition to the game than arts imo. Arts are basically just another move in your moveset that you only get to use every now and then. Basically every weapon gets a charge blade ultra discharge.
But styles actually change your playstyle fundamentally. Aerial longsword and bushido longsword for example completely change your flowcharting, it feels like a different weapon entirely.

Arts are alright. Pretty fun, even. Adds more move variety.
Striker is alright. Aerial is too clunky for me to use so far. Adept is the best shit though. It feels so good.
