This is the first Zelda game in about 15 years that has interested me. And nearly everything I have asked for was confirmed on the very first day. And not even 2% of the game has been explored.

This stands to be oddly unique. Link usually has world changing goalposts as part of his quest. In this game, Link can skip to the end. The whole quest is essential to bulk Link up until the player thinks he's a bad enough dude to fight Ganon. Link could drop whatever he is working on at any time, and just decided it's time to end the game. This stands to be a very odd experience. It will be cool to try, but I won't be surprised if they only do this once. I also won't be surprised if they fill the void with MM style sidequests.

Yes, there will be dungeons.
The current running theory is that there will be the traditional 8 dungeons - there are 10 areas on the map, and with one as the starting area and one as the castle and its surrounding areas (assuming the castle won't be a dungeon) we'd have one dungeon per zone.
That's in addition to the 100+ mini-dungeons you'll find in the shrines.
It just looks like a tech demo and standard open world sandbox shit with a Nintendo spin on it so far. I've yet to see anything that resembles a game that has the capacity for adventure, progression and a story to accompany it.

Honestly, going in to this E3, I didn't expect it to be everything I wanted, but I knew I would like it. They blew me away. They exceeded my expectations.
I love the art style, but the visuals are the only thing that still need work IMO. That and I want there to be some variety in the shrines and the dungeons to not be shine-like aesthetically. Aside from that though, the game looks like an absolute blast to play and they're doing everything right. Too many good things to say tbqh.

The world and mechanics seem amazing. The actual game remains unknown. I keep thinking back to GTA3SA, about how vast and full of potential that the world is, but also how lonely the game feels when all the missions are completed. I hope the new Zelda doesn't have that feeling.
