It'll be good because Playtonic isn't lead by a hack like Inafune.
It will be decent at least, this is by the actual developers whereas Inafune had little to do with what made Mega Man's gameplay.
The game is progressing along well, but I would be lying if I didn't think that something just felt off with the recent trailer.
Maybe the sound design. The movement also seems a bit too rigid as well. Not as floaty as BK.
Though, I guess it's also weird seeing a BK-style game playing at a decent framerate.

I guess bouncier animations and a bit more momentum would fix that problem.
Also, my main fear is that they will make giant levels that feel empty like in N&B or tedious to explore like in BT.
Making more smaller levels makes it easier to keep track of your progress and to explore (without having tiny levels either).
I think it's character designs looks like shovelware from 2000 and it's basing itself to much off of nostalgia.
But I haven't paid attention to it since the KS where I didn't back it.

Character designs look pretty slick in my opinion as well, people say they're bland but if they were more complex they'd look messy and I feel their models fit with the aesthetic of the levels.
