Man, it's so strange. We've had DBZ games for decades without any new content, and now that Super and the movies have come out within the past couple of years, everything feels so dated all of a sudden. Very strange.
New fighting game when? Extreme Butoden was pretty good, just needed a bit more polish and some tweaking.
I'm kinda off the DBZ fighting games. They're always really unbalanced and bad mechanically. I hope they eventually find a way to finally get the Dragonball experience solidified in a particular game, because they never really managed it.
