I liked it too, but it's not even close to being the best sidesroller in years. Fuck, it isn't even the best recent blatantly furry sidescroller either, that would be Freedom Planet.
The game is totally fine, just the artstyle is DeviantArt vomit and the voice acting sucks.

everything was good except for the main character's voice
The combat felt good and fun to play but the game and level design were dead boring. The enemies were mostly boring too. I think this is symptomatic of the autistic savant who made it in that his autism helped him focus and work hard on making high quality game assets but he has none of the creative awareness to actually design a good game.
