Glad I waited. Heard the game was broken. But not it's all fixed up and have been having a blast! I haven't played a battlefield since bf2, and it brings back a lot of memories.
I got DotA 2 for free and spent 1500+ hours in it.
For a game I actually 'bought', though, I guess I'd have to say Kingdom Hearts 1. Picked it up for a tenner in 2004, and I played through it eight times by the release of 1.5
Easily spent over 400 hours with it.

I've got this game for 8€ last week despite it being 30€ + used on my country amazon.
always keep hearing how it's a total gem.
i'm only 3 hours in but my mind is already blown at what this game does when it comes to decisions, open world, and minigames/shit to do.
i also assume that this game will only go up in price, so it was a solid investment either way.
overall the best value i get is usually with PS2 games, cause they are dirt cheap.
/v/ told me to buy this game and to this day it is still the best purchase I ever made.

I spent 15 bucks on Halo 3 (with the steelcase) and Bioshock together. They were both subpar but I traded Halo 3 for an R4 so it was a good deal in the end.
Bought it preowned. Hadn't heard about it before but it looked okay enough to try out. Ended up sinking tons of hours into it. Easily the best cheap purchase I've ever done.
