If Nintendo's hardware specs weren't always one generation behind, do you think 3rd party devs would still be releasing their games on Nintendo consoles in addition to Sony and Microsoft's? Or is Nintendo so completely divorced from the mainstream that they would consider it a waste of time and resources?
They didn't release games on the Wii U when the PS3/360 were still current gen.

No. Third parties dont like nintendo and they never had. Even if the NX was very powerful, they wouldnt get much third party support.
Nintendo were assholes to 3rd parties back then.
It doesnt help that most of their consumers just buy the new pokemon or waifu emblem and ahit on everything else

Western Devs think Nintendo is shit doesnt matter since all they fucking make is movie games
Meanwhile Nintendo has deep connections with majort Eastern Devs thus they make grest games for the system.
So no they dont need "3rd party cinematic experience" ports. They just need to go to people like Capcom and Namco etc to make good games again.

3rd party devs worked with Nintendo during the NES/SNES era because Nintendo was King, it would have been stupid to ignore a market that size. They tolerated Nintendo's meddling, censorship and higher dev fees because the rewards of the huge playerbase was worth it.
As times have gone on and Nintendo's playerbase has shrunken drastically, Nintendo has not changed, they still behave like they're the biggest fish in the sea and expect 3rd party devs to tolerate their bullshit.
Whereas Sony and Microsoft practically get on their knees and suck the dicks of 3rd party devs to get games, even when they're winning their respective generation.

This is the shit that needs to stop, companies like EA and Ubisoft shouldn't have a safety net and their broken products should have caused them to go bankrupt.
