It was ok. Not as spooky as i'd have liked it to be.
I liked it a lot. I wouldn't really compare it to Yume Nikki though. Yume Nikki is far more open world while this one is much more linear and has more plot and dialog.

It's a fun surreal Rpg maker game, it could use more freights but the world building is good and interesting so I have no problems with it. I would like more games like it but there's not much coming out lately.

Am I too much of a bitch if I can't handle playing these games? Even the cheapest jump scares are enough to get me to panic, so even if the game doesn't have any I'll be constantly terrified of one coming

Half way through the game there is a scene aboute a book in a shelf you'll need to find to open the door/progress. The original video made thr game crash, so the dev went with a text note in thr game. But the original video is still in the files and can be viewed via vlc or stuff. Was something about a theater pkay of an elementary class irc. I found it very creepy

Probably my favorite RPG-maker game. the oppressive yet comfy atmosphere is unlike anything else i've seen in a game. The music fits the tone and visuals very neatly and the sound effects are unsettling.
I wouldn't compare it to Yume Nikki though, Ib is more about the characters and the concept of a haunted/cursed art gallery. While Yume Nikki is just about the weird and disturbing imagery.

I can never play these eerie RPG maker games like Ib or Yume Nikki, shit just creeps me out too much. Something about the lower budget quality almost makes it more creepy compared to something that would be triple A.

Thought it was great but I keep ending up with the Mary ending. It's short and sweet and I think it's paced nicely too. Replayed it so many times but always forget the choices I make hence the same ending.

Its not a full portrait of himself. But if he did have a full sized portrait of himself somewhere and the fact that his paintings can come to life we could potentially have some kind of painting-lich on our hands.
He still exists in some form though because he insults and kills you in one of the bad endings, I forget which. I think its the one where Mary tries to escape by herself or something.

And then there's Mogeko Castle Gaiden, Carnival Rhythm, The Glorious Sea Kingdom and The end of the Wonderland.But I haven't heard any news on any of Mogeko's projects on the past year.

uboa's how I knew about .flow after doing YN, I just find it really weird that I used most of the main sites for rpg maker and knew alot of 'big' games like blurred line, the way, PTEI (shoot at pokemon) but YN never blipped the radar til I found threads here.
