Dune is just so fucking hard to read. Author throws all the new concepts, language, characters and stuff at you at the same time. Then you read next 50 pages and still wonder what the fuck is happening. Luckily, the next chapters: Messiah and Children are much better to read.
After reading The Machine Crusade I decide not to read anything by Anderson or Herbert Jr.
