Micro transactions out the ass. Long boring grinds for gear. Disguise the same 3-5 quests and copy/paste those all over the place to fill up each zone with minimal effort. Save the coolest vanity items for the cash shop. Give tiny daily rewards that aren't much but in effect punish people for not logging in about 3 hours each day.

But really now, MMO's are closer to a crack addiction than a gaming experience.
