probably not. slashing at someone's belly has the chance to spill their guts which you can grab and pinch or just bite at them and shake your head.
I also like to make training dummies by chopping a bandit's limb off, fsst travel so his wounds immediately heal and he doesn't die. doe this will all limbs and kick his teeth out and you got a torso to train your skills on.

if you haven't, update to the newest version. trees are still a little screwy in that people will sometimes climb up them when running away and not be able to get down, but the "woodcutter killed by logs from tree he's cutting down" bug is a thing of the past
