How challenging is this game?
I love the kirby's but I got burnt out at how easy I started coursing through it.
Im not wanting dark souls, just something I actually have to engage with.

It's pretty easy all the way though, some of the boss fights can be pretty hard though. I would recommend at least getting to the final boss because it's one of the best final bosses in any video game I've played.
But if you want fucking impossible challenge try fucking beating the True Arena.

As usual its pretty easy, but the level design is really good. The boss fights are genuinely fun.
The OST is also the best in the series if you're into that.

The only time i really felt challenged was the final bosses of True Arena
Just started playing this game and I think it's great so far.
I didn't play triple deluxe, but everyone in the Kirby threads shits on it.
What was wrong with it, too short?
The only thing I've really felt any sense of panic about is Mecha Knight so far. Not that that matters in the slightest, more difficult != more fun.

Planet Robobot is shorterand easierthan Triple Deluxe though. Robobot's robot sections and the new powers are just fun as fuck. Also Mirror Kirby is back.

Hypernova is a fantastically shit ability to shoehorn everywhere.
If it comes up, you have to use it for progression and it takes ages to suck up the big things.

Why would it be on top? The only time it possibly was the top power was on Amazing Mirror because it was the only one with varied moves.
Was that 3D Kirby side game a test for a future console game? Seemed like one of those ideas scrapped when they were trying to figure out what to do with the series before finally coming out with RtDL.

It could be if the games were harder. As it stands, Smash Bros is hardly more useful than Cutter or Hammer now.
It was damn useful in Amazing Mirror because you could use Hammer or Stone on the stomps to unlock routes plus have access to other quicker and faster attacks.

Its single player, its a comfy game and its a relaxed game. Its a cute series but mainly cause, well, its single player. Competition will generate sparks no matter what level, single player generates discussion and chit chat about something everyone loves.

I honestly found it even easier than Triple Deluxe. I actually died against Pyribbit and Queen Sectonia while in Robobot the only times I died was when I stupidly forgot the Robot can't float.

Kirby easy, like not mindless but enough that a little kid could easily beat it. However, the True Arena can be tough and require a few tries.
