I got to lvl 100 Master (v11 or v13 i think) but stopped cause the grind was just too much for me. I just liked how every one knew who you were if you got to HERO or if you camped arena all day. The plvl system was good too, since you can make money off lvling people. I miss Flyff so much, but the pay2win aspect was just too much. You could only make it so far grinding and boss hunting before you had to wide your credit card.

I haven't actually played eflyff since the whole UI went to that shitty gold shit, I think I quit around v13 or something, I honestly can't remember. I played from v6.

You beat me to it. The parts that are really bad is the unskippable 30 second JoWood logo at start up and those terrible swamp levels. The game did a decent job of trying to fake an open world between levels. Still, I have no idea why anyone would pick ghost form.

War Inc (1997) is a C&C clone with a stock market simulator. The game has a lot of interesting concepts but the implementation is just ass. The campaign is unbeatable without cheat codes.
Shooting is objectively bad but you should play it.

They're not that bad, just clumsy controls sometimes.
Their problem is the difficulty, it's already extreme on the easiest setting.
The highest setting is nigh-impossible.

Having to deal with a lack of decent manual or tutorial means you can walk out of your apartment without the robot helper needed to progress the plot. Dealing with the RNG changing the city layout and holding plot progression hostage was more annoying than fun.

Still managed to have fun with this train wreck despite so many bad design decisions. There is a decent game underneath below the monster spawners and damage sponge bosses.

By itself, DX:IW wasn't terrible, but the consolization is blatant. The story handling is garbage; you can spend your whole time stabbing everyone in the back up until the very end and they will all keep forgiving you.
For every neat idea it had, it had several more severe flaws. But it was still easy to see that at least the devs were trying to do something interesting.

Is this really considered bad? I love this game.
Revenant takes the Diablo formula and adds much needed depth to the combat. OTOH, lack of pacing, lack of town portal scrolls, lack of automap, lack of proceduraly generated levels, and a bunch of other basics meant it wouldn't make much of a splash.
