I love Philipa!
Post the earliest screenshot you have.
I just finished Hearts of Stone tonight. What a ride. I absolutely loved it.
Gonna start Blood and Wine tomorrow, very excited for that.

I'm jealous. Wish I still had content to do that was new to me.
Is there a way to do a new game + with my new game + save?
Or will I have to start a new game proper to get the third ending?
Post Geralts

>>341824936
Yeah, in a way I'm dreading it since it's the last bit of content I have left. I really didn't except HoS to be as good as it was. I still have NG+ but it will just be the same old thing with higher level enemies.
Gonna try and make it last.
>recieve quest for wolf school armor
>quest is level 10ish
>can't go there till level 30ish
Thanks game.

WINDS HOWLING
Master Mirror was so well written. When he refuses to tell you his name and tells you why I got chills. And how they introduce this guy at the very beginning of the game was brilliant. Didn't even give him a second thought until the expansion.

What was your favorite monster to fight in the game?
>Skellige deck is good when you don't use berserkers

I think the dwarves are right about being pissed. Shit's OP
is witcher 2's gameplay really that bad?
>>341827258
I'd say it's worst of the 3
it wasn't bad, but had it's faults
>>341827258
I don't think any of them are bad and think all 3 are fun. Witcher 1 for its uniqueness compared to the other 2. Witcher 2 had some cool ass signs and finishers. Witcher 3 overall the best though.
quick guys!, post your favourite battle theme!

what decoctions should i use on my synergy alchemy/signs build on NG DM? using ekhidna right now but no idea what else after archgriffin nerf
>>341827258
Compared to W3, It would be rough having to go back to loading into every peasant hovel and having virtually no freedom of movement
Unless you just meant combat
tbqh they had to nerf quen/roll spam because it was just way too effective but it wasn't enough
>>341827727
I used ancient leshan but found it wasn't that necessary because even boss fights don't last that long because you usually have insane DPS even on DM, if you upgrade your weapon and have the oil feats and mutations that scale with your toxicity.
so anything goes really, if you can't find anything that does much then use cockatrice. alternatively you can just use one decoction and spam potions instead. blizzard is pretty insane.
>>341828180
for example, ancient leshan would need about 5 sign uses to have similar effect as a tawny owl. may as well spam tawny owl instead.

I'm finsishing up white orchard and am running out of quests
how the hell do I make money? I'm poor from eating too much food because I'm playing on death march

I think they are both great for different reasons, which I like. The characters for both expansions were great,Regismet every one of my expectations and more.
HoS main plot has way more nuance, and the villian was probably one of the best characters CDPR has made. But the side quests and contracts were great in BaW, and I feel there is a secondary reference through the entirety of BaW.
To the fact that Geralt always had this inner desire to choose his profession and life instead of always being on the rails of Destiny. I think Geralt had an inward desire he suppressed rather quickly in the books, to be a knight. This let him live his fantasy in a fantasy land before retirement.

Contracts, selling loot you don't want, looting everything that won't trigger guards, and you can build up money.
Money is zero issue until you get into the expansions.
>tfw you fork out almost 10k crowns to make one Witcher set in BaW
No I know why Geralt got so pissed at Dandelion in the books when he ripped his jacket.
>>341828396
Just get to Velen ASAP. You make fuck all gold in White Orchard.
Generally your best bet for making money is running to all the question marks, kill the bandits/enemies, loot everything there and flock to the next point of interest and do the same until you have no inventory space left. Then go sell everything to an armorer or blacksmith that isn't poor.
After that, go cash in all other currencies at Vivaldi's Bank. Should be loaded after a few hours.
And craft Swallow or get the Gourmet perk.

I'm replaying through The Witcher 1 right now and am really pleasantly surprised at how good it is even after having played 2/3.
The UI and alchemy are much better than the sequels too.
Just one thing, you do a side quest in Chapter 1 and are randomly visited by the King of the Wild Hunt who commands a spectre of Leo the dead witcher-candidate from the prologue to attack you. Also he looks like this, clearly some sort of undead monster rather thanan interdimensional elf warlord. What the hell?
>>341832907
It's Eredin's other scary spooky outfit.
>>341832907
They have the power to traverse a huge sheep full of elves between worlds/universes, I just write off W1 Eredin as a ghostly spectre that he sent through to deal with Geralt after escaping the Hunt
>>341828526
you better not be implying gaunter was the villain
