I don't want a remake. Mario Land is still one of my top 5 favorite Mario games. What I want is a new game set in Sasaraland. With Daisy as the playable character. Daisy beating up Jiangshi and Aliens to save her kingdom.and saving Luigi who the aliens captured.

They kind of did already with a lot of the other games in a collection, but they haven't "remastered" it yet.
I have to say I was surprised at how many deviations that game took, and it's interesting how many of them Nintendo never went back to. All the Egyptian themes, Mario in that spaceship plane thing, somehow everything in Mario Land has been largely free of rehashes.
Nintendo didn't make it actually.
Which is why its so different.

This is an objectively bad game though. The only good thing that came out of Mario Land was the third one starting Wario Land, which ended up being among Nintendo's absolute best games ever.
Mario Land 1 is a game you liked as a kid, but it's total shit in reality. Terrible boss fights, a bunch of gimmick levels, and incoherent settings just for the hell of it.
