That said, the other games are structured better. This has some weird stuff with a story no one wanted and remixes (the high points of the previous games) being held off for so long.
If you don't start with this, start with either the GBA or Wii release. You can skip the DS one unless you REALLY like the other games.

Haven't played the new one yet, but I definitely know this feel regarding the DS and Wii ones. There are always fine minigames, then some really forgiving ones, and then some fucking strict ones. I think it was in Fever that I never even completed Remix 10, not even getting an Okay to pass it. It's weird, I feel like I have to do perfectly to get by, because even a couple mistakes have always failed me.
