When was the era of "social" E3s where all they talked about was how they wanted to make their console a social experience? I'm bad with dates.
Anyway, after those Sony E3s that were 3 hours of just talking about how social and how the playstation 3 was the centerpiece of the house for ALL entertainment not just videogames, having a Sony conference composed exclusively of trailers and 0 bullshit was so refreshing.

We've moved away from brown and grey shooters of last gen to garbage "emotional story driven" LoU clones for this gen.
The annoying thing is so many journalists haven't even realized this yet and are praising all these soul less clones.

I've mixed opinions on E3 this year. On one hand it felt like it didn't deliver anything amazing or surprise announcements which was disappointing.
But on the other hand, there was no real lengthy boring shit talk about numbers, social crap or other retarded irrelevant things no one who watched E3 online gave a fuck about. It was practically just vidya presenations which is good, it just lacked some omph.
But E3 is on the decline anyway since devs seems to be fed up with skewed media reporting (seriously, IGN and other retards still bitched about lack of women lineups among people on stage etc before show even started).
And while E3 isn't going on, they keep shitting on companies like Ubisoft for not catering to their latest moral fad then suck their dick harder than anything else whenever the Ubisoft E3 conference is on because of Aisha Tyler.
So if you ever think E3 is shit because of social faggotry, blame game journalism for demanding it to be some retarded norm that is honestly really fucking irrelevant to video games.
