Probably thinking about what level of damage control he'll have to pull out of his ass when the NX's hardware is unveiled. There's no place for gimmicks or unrefined hardware anymore. Nintendo seems to labor under the delusion that the fad hasn't ended and that they still have some special snowflake position in the industry where they can avoid competition, push weak hardware and still sell on gimmickry.

In 2010 I waited 90 minutes in line to play Skyward Sword. You have 4 minutes to play the game and afterwards were given a t-shirt. Each station had someone who was supposed to give you a briefing and answer questions. The girl assigned to mine was flirting with some other instructor and neglected my turn. I struggled with the motion controls for attack the whole time and never found anything interesting. After 4 minutes she turns around and says "oh you're done" and wings a child size t-shirt at me. Probably the most disappointing thing I've ever waited in line for. You're absolutely right. Just get it when it comes out.
