This might be one of those games you need to play to get. I'm not understanding what I'm seeing exactly. A lot of blasting and explosion effects. I played Jet Force Gemini, and I'm not sure if that's a proper comparison. I can kind of see a similarity in a very loose sense.
The animations are rather jerky. Especially the way she boosts. She jerks into boost posture so quickly, it looks strange.

I'm just glad to see it's technically a budget title. I always hate seeing Microsoft invest in something that's different than cars or guns and it selling like shit because it's full price, hopefully they're smart and put out a demo. It looks good, but jesus. 70+% of the devs that worked on Metroid Prime are still at Retro. The other 30% or so are scattered around the industry. No one person makes a game in the west, so having them on a team won't instantly make it some golden work of art.

They really need to advertise that Joseph Staten is on the project. Same with Scalebound. Not to say alot of people know who he is, but to alot of people "Creator of Halo" probably has alot of persuasion.
