The series DID need a reboot after the shitshow that was DMC4, but DmC was such a fucking mess that they've completely killed the idea so now the only potential DMC game is one that's full of fan-pandering and will be DMC4-2 with all the same flaws that shit has. Since capcom has way less money now then they did in 2007 they've realized that making a game like that with modern graphics wouldn't make nearly enough money back so they gave up on the series.
