Sega still exists as video game developer, and, thus, has had plenty of time to demonstrate what great developers they are with all the great masterpieces they never made. As game developers they are terrible. They were good at designing consoles though.

You won't because you can't. Sonic 3 was good. Nights in to Dreams was definitely good. But in terms of pure craftsmanship, can they stand in the same league as the best Nintendo games? I think not.
