Nigger I had 12 flasks at the end of my blind playthrough, and two of the ones I missed were obvious ones that I somehow walked right past, like the one right at the start of Farron Keep. Particularly since Raw Infusion will end up giving you much more of a damage bonus until you pump about 40 points into your damage stats, so there really isn't even much of a difference between a SL20 character and a SL80 character in terms of damage output, assuming that they're both using optimum infusions. Add to that the fact that every single fucking enemy beyond Irithyll can kill you in two hits no matter what your stats and armor are, and you may as well never talk to the damn Fire Keeper.

I'm backtracking through the game finding some of the secrets I skipped or missed, and jesus christ Irithyll Dungeon is pretty fucking tough if you miss a swing. Can't roll away, stunlocked from poker, health drained 25/8, they dont' fuck around there.
I was playing this morning before I left for work, and I slipped up against the Basilisks in the sewer, don't even know why I triggered them to fall to be honest.
And, then the next time I missed a swing against a double pack of poker dudes, and got locked into a death and lost my souls.
